Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nasik, came alive with creativity, confidence and powerful storytelling as the much-awaited Inter-House Dramatics Competition unfolded on September 17 and 18, 2026. With the four houses competing for honours, the stage became a vibrant space where talent met teamwork and imagination took centre stage.
The competition for the Primary Section was held on September 17, with the young performers captivating the audience through their enthusiastic and expressive performances. With confidence beyond their years, the students brought their characters to life and delivered meaningful messages through their acts. After a spirited contest, the Yellow House emerged triumphant, securing First Place.
The excitement continued on September 18, as the Secondary Section took to the stage. The performances reflected creativity, maturity and excellent coordination. Each house presented a compelling narrative, leaving the audience with much to think about. The students skilfully portrayed the importance of relationships, encouragement, friendship and support in overcoming life’s challenges. Bosco House emerged First, earning applause for its commendable performance.
What made the competition particularly significant was its strong connection with the school’s annual theme, “You Are Not Alone.” The carefully chosen topics enabled students to explore the many people who become pillars of strength in our lives—parents, teachers, friends and mentors. Through drama, the students conveyed a simple yet profound message: every journey becomes meaningful when we have someone to walk beside us.
Beyond the competition and the quest for victory, the event provided students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, communication, collaboration, empathy and stage presence. It transformed the stage into a classroom of life, where every performance carried a lesson and every participant had something meaningful to share.
The successful initiative was held under the able guidance and encouragement of the Principal, Fr Rixson Nigrel, whose constant efforts towards holistic education continue to create platforms for students to discover and nurture their talents.
As the curtains came down, the applause faded and the stage fell silent, one message continued to resonate: “You Are Not Alone.” The Dramatics Competition was not merely a celebration of acting—it was a celebration of togetherness, courage and the people who make our journey brighter.
