INNOVISTA 2026–27, the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Exhibition, was held on October 10, 2026 at Don Bosco, Nerul. Round 1 and Round 2 were conducted on the different days, taking students from research to hands-on creation.
The programme began with a welcome to the guests, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a prayer song. A dance performance by students added colour to the occasion. Fr Dr Barnabe D'Souza addressed the gathering, and Principal Mrs Kalyani Chaudhuri then introduced the Chief Guest, Mrs Heena Samani. Tr Shiny introduced the judges. Mrs Heena Samani who was the chief guest from Tilak College, spoke to the students, encouraging curiosity and innovation, and the exhibition was formally opened with the inaugural ceremony.
Round 1 was conducted for Classes 1–9 and 11, where students presented their research displays and explained their chosen topics to the judges. The exhibits were evaluated on Research Accuracy and Depth, Sustainable Development Goals Connection, Originality and Creativity, Clarity of Explanation, and Research Display. Two judges were assigned to each class, and their scores were consolidated after the presentations. Students showed enthusiasm, creativity, teamwork, and confidence while presenting their ideas, and the best research displays from each class were selected for the next stage.
The selected groups then proceeded to Round 2, where they developed hands-on models and exhibits based on their research topics. This round allowed students to turn their ideas into working demonstrations, applying scientific concepts in practical and creative ways. Students explained their models to the judges and visitors, showing a good understanding of their topics and the value of collaboration.
Both rounds were conducted smoothly and in a well-organised manner. Together they gave students a valuable opportunity to apply their research, communication, and creative thinking skills, in keeping with the spirit of exploring, discovering, and innovating. The school congratulates all participants for their efforts and thanks the guests, judges, teachers, and organisers for making INNOVISTA 2026–27 a memorable and successful event.
