KAWANT, GUJARAT: Don Bosco School, Kawant, organised a Science Exhibition for the students of both the English and Gujarati Medium sections on September 30, 2026. The exhibition provided the students with an opportunity to present their scientific knowledge, creativity and innovative ideas through various projects.
The exhibition commenced by invoking the Lord’s name with a prayer dance, seeking God’s blessings for the programme and the participating students.
The exhibition featured a range of projects prepared and presented by the students. The exhibits demonstrated their understanding of scientific concepts and their efforts to apply classroom learning to practical situations.
The projects were evaluated by Mr Kartikeyan and Mr Vijay, who visited the various exhibits and interacted with the participating students. The judges asked the students detailed questions about their projects and encouraged them to explain the concepts, working mechanisms and practical applications of their exhibits. Their interaction motivated the students and appreciated their efforts in preparing and presenting the projects.
Fr Mayank Parmar, Rector and Manager of the institution, addressed the students during the exhibition and encouraged them to develop a spirit of curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking. Fr Ajay, Principal of the Gujarati Medium section, and Fr Agnel, Principal of the English Medium section, were also present and supported the students during the exhibition.
The exhibition also provided students with an opportunity to develop their confidence, communication skills and ability to explain scientific concepts. The students enthusiastically presented their projects and responded to the questions posed by the judges.
Later in the day, the winners of the exhibition were announced. The students who secured the winning positions were rewarded with exciting gifts and prizes in recognition of their efforts and achievements.
The Science Exhibition was a meaningful learning experience for the students of Don Bosco Kawant, encouraging them to explore science through creativity, experimentation and practical application.
