On October 31, 2026, Narukot Education Society (Don Bosco), Narukot, organised a staff meeting and training programme through its SAHYOGEE Department to prepare staff members for the upcoming Diwali Camps and strengthen their understanding of the APF–NES Youth Project 2026. The programme was conducted by Mr Ashwin Baria from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and witnessed the participation of 37 staff members from the SAHYOGEE Department and Jeevan Vikas Kendra.
The first session focused on the planning and organisation of two-day Diwali Camps across all 35 centres of the SAHYOGEE Department. Detailed guidance was provided on centre-wise planning, preparation of activity schedules, and allocation of staff responsibilities and effective implementation of the camps. Special emphasis was placed on the inter-centre exchange method, encouraging staff members to strengthen coordination, cooperation and mutual learning by sharing experiences and best practices with one another.
The second session focused on the objectives, framework and implementation of the APF–NES Youth Project 2026. Staff members were provided with detailed insights into various aspects of youth development, particularly youth leadership, value-based education, the formation and functioning of youth groups, educational activities with children, and the preservation and promotion of tribal culture.
The training also highlighted the importance of systematic activity planning, effective implementation, clearly defined staff roles and responsibilities, regular monitoring and review of project activities, and the maintenance of proper documentation and records. These aspects were discussed to ensure that the project activities are carried out effectively and achieve their intended objectives.
A total of 37 staff members participated enthusiastically in the programme, including 35 representatives from the SAHYOGEE Department and two from Jeevan Vikas Kendra. The meeting provided a valuable platform for staff members to clarify their responsibilities, exchange ideas and strengthen their collective approach towards the successful implementation of the planned activities.
The programme concluded with greater clarity among the participants regarding the upcoming Diwali Camps and the objectives and activities of the APF–NES Youth Project 2026. The training reaffirmed the importance of teamwork, effective coordination, youth participation and value-based education, while recognising the need to preserve and promote tribal culture. Through this initiative, Narukot Education Society (Don Bosco), Narukot, reiterated its commitment to the holistic development of children and young people by empowering its staff with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to guide and support them effectively.
