As part of the 150th Anniversary Celebration of the Salesian Cooperators worldwide, the Salesian Cooperators of Yerwada Unit have taken a meaningful initiative to reach out to our senior and elderly Cooperators who are unable to attend programmes and activities due to old age, ill health, or other difficulties.
Some of our Cooperators have generously given their valuable time to visit these senior members in their homes, spend time with them, listen to them, pray with them, and offer them encouragement and companionship.
This initiative is a beautiful expression of the Salesian spirit of love, care, gratitude and solidarity. Our senior Cooperators have contributed greatly to the growth and mission of the Salesian Family, and this is our small way of showing them that they are remembered, valued and an important part of our Salesian family.
Let us continue this journey of reaching out, bringing hope, joy, prayer and the presence of Christ to those who are unable to be with us physically.
“We may not be able to bring everyone to our programmes, but we can take our love, prayers and Salesian spirit to them.”
God bless all our senior Salesian Cooperators and those who generously dedicate their time to visit and accompany them.
