Mumbai Salesians at Don Bosco Alirajpur Shaikshanik Samajik Kendra and Bosco United (DBA Past Pupils) together with the social development staff conducted COVID-19 awareness programmes, and are reaching out to distribute masks and sanitizers to the Collectorate, S.P. Office, District Hospital and domestic staff, and families in the neighbourhood and in interior rural areas. The break -up of COVID-19 Phase 03 relief aid is as below:

Collectorate for the various departments: DBA has provided to the service-provider personnel of the Collectorate’s different offices.It has made available 500 gel sanitizers, 500 water sanitizers and 200 masks

S.P. Office for the police personnel: DBA has provided to the various police personnel, especially those engaged in COVID-19 prevention activities. It has provided 600 gel sanitizers, 600 water sanitizers and 300 masks.

District Hospital Staff: DBA has provided 01 automated semi- analyzer machine which automatically provides various reports immediately for about 200 parameters. This is very useful in helping save lives in all emergency cases. Since the only other option is to take the patients all the way to Indore expending large amounts of money. The cost of the machine is about Rs 60,0000/- DBA has also provided 250 gel sanitizers, 250 water sanitizers and 100 masks for T. B. patients. This was done in consultation with all the doctors.

Rural Families: DBA has reached out in distributing 100 masks and 100 soaps in each village with a total reach to 25 villages. This is the third time where DBA has distributed in 25 villages. Altogether a total of 2500 masksand 2500 soaps have been distributed.

Poor of the neighbourhood and domestic staff: DBA has provided rationkits of poha, dal ,onion, masala alongwith sanitizers, masks and soaps to the poor and needy of the neighbourhood and to 20 domestic staff.
