On July 25, 2025, the Pre-Primary and Primary Section of Don Bosco School & Junior College, Nashik celebrated Mother’s Day with immense joy, love, and enthusiasm. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers in nurturing and shaping the lives of their children.
The celebration began with a warm welcome extended to the school management, invited guests, and the beloved mothers of the students. The occasion was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp—symbolizing hope, wisdom, and knowledge—followed by a soulful prayer service seeking blessings and expressing gratitude to all mothers.
An informative seminar was held, highlighting the importance of early parenting and the vital role mothers play in a child’s foundational years. Esteemed guest speakers, Mrs. Anagha Dusane and Ms. Anagha Chokhar, shared insightful messages that resonated deeply with the audience. Their talks emphasized how early parental involvement significantly influences a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
The cultural performances by the young students added a delightful touch to the celebration. The children charmed everyone with a vibrant dance performance, full of innocence and energy, followed by a heartfelt poetry recitation expressing their love for their mothers. An action song brought a joyful and festive atmosphere to the hall, leaving smiles on every face.
A special highlight of the event was the address by the Principal, Fr Rixson Nigrel, who appreciated the presence of all mothers and recognized their indispensable role in shaping values, character, and emotional well-being in children. His words were filled with warmth, gratitude, and inspiration.
Another memorable moment was the Mother-Teacher Association (MTA) dance performance. Mothers and teachers came together on stage to deliver a beautiful and touching performance, symbolizing unity, collaboration, and mutual respect.
Adding a fun and interactive twist to the celebration, spot games were organized for mothers . These engaging activities brought moments of laughter and bonding, making the day even more special.
The event concluded with a strong sense of joy, togetherness, and appreciation. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories—especially for the mothers, who truly felt honored and celebrated.
This thoughtful initiative by the school, under the guidance of Pre-Primary Supervisor, Tr. Sujata, and Primary Supervisor, Tr. Joyce, was not only a tribute to mothers but also an acknowledgment of the collective efforts of educators and families. The celebration successfully strengthened the bond between children and their mothers, making Mother’s Day 2025 a truly cherished experience for all.
