Don Bosco Parish Church Savedi reached out to institutionalised mentally deficient females, with a unique 'bed-linen' outreach.

Conceived by former Parish Priest-Father Vishwas Pereira, with monetary contribution from every family in the parish, this outreach initiative procured and provided 50 bedsheets and 50 blankets to the Congregation of Mother of Carmel [CMC] managed Government Certified centre at Shirur.

The outreach was executed by the Priest-Incharge and representatives of the Don Bosco parish community, who visited the centre and handed over the bed-linen to the CMC nuns.
