On August 16, The Stellar DB Academy witnessed the grand inauguration of its much anticipated Nail Art Technician course and the Nail Art Lounge, a project that promises to bring the latest beauty trends to the fingertips of its students. The ceremony was graced by Provincial Fr Savio Silveira, who led the inauguration and blessing of the new facility. He was accompanied by a distinguished gathering, including Rev Dr Fr Barnabe D’Souza, Director of The Stellar DB Academy, members of the management team, visiting priests from various parts of the province, the Principal of Don Bosco School Nerul Mrs Kalyani Chaudhari, as well as department heads, teachers, and staff from both the academy and the school.

The Nail Art Technician course and Lounge, the brainchild of Mrs Wenonah Castellino advisor at the Stellar DB Academy, is set to become a hub of creativity and skill-building, offering students the opportunity to learn and master the latest trends in nail art. Mrs Castellino, who spearheaded this initiative, took the stage to demonstrate various nail art techniques and provided a detailed explanation of the services the salon would offer. From metallic and chrome designs to classic French tips, ombre effects, and intricate floral patterns, the salon is equipped to teach a wide array of techniques. Additionally, students will learn line art, marble nails, pop art nails, and more, ensuring they are well-versed in the most current styles. It will also provide essential services such as gel polish application, nail art removal, and extension refills, making it a comprehensive training ground for aspiring nail technicians.

During the event, several students shared their excitement about the new course, expressing how it would benefit them.
