The 17th Annual Sports Fest 2024-25 of Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul commenced with great enthusiasm on the school campus. The morning began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr Alex Emmanuel. The audience responded positively, reflecting the significance of the occasion. 

Following this, an introduction of the dignitaries highlighted the presence of key figures, including the Rector, Father Barnabe D’souza, Vice Principal Father Shekhar Mariadas, Principal Mrs Kalyani Choudhari, and various esteemed faculty members. This acknowledgment underscored the school's commitment to inspiring its young athletes. 

The ceremonial hoisting of the flag symbolized unity and a commitment to sustainable practices in sports, marking the official start of the festivities. The torch relay followed, representing not only athletic excellence but also the values of knowledge and environmental stewardship, showcasing the accomplishments and dedication of the torchbearers. The lighting of the flame further emphasized a shared commitment to sustainability and inspired all participants. 

The morning included the Sportsman’s Prayer and the Athlete’s Oath, promoting values such as respect and integrity among the athletes.

As the day progressed, competitive events took center stage, showcasing the talents and determination of the students. The closing ceremony featured Chief Guest Ms Winonah Castellino, who shared her insights and experiences, inspiring attendees to pursue excellence in both sports and life. The event culminated in the recognition of individual champions, celebrating outstanding achievements across various categories. 

The highlight of the closing ceremony was the announcement of the Best House winner, with Red House taking the honor this year. This recognition not only celebrated athletic performance but also fostered a sense of community and teamwork among the participants. Overall, the Annual Sports Fest was a resounding success, marked by camaraderie, spirited competition, and a shared commitment to the values of sportsmanship and sustainability.
