On 24 October 2021, as the Church celebrated Mission Sunday, Resurrection Church Virar [E] organised Mission Sunday Cafe. Sarita, and Julie Chettiar cooked poha and sandwiches, and sold it to the parishioners to raise funds for the mission.

The Mission Cafe after the 7am, 8.30am and 9.45am masses, catered to people on the spot and also with parcel-packed sandwiches and poha to be consumed at home. People were all happy to do their mite for the mission and went home enthusiastic about the mission, of which, each is a living part.
