Today, 06 May 2020, Feast of St. Dominic Savio, 02 Mumbai Salesians' Novices pursuing their Novitiate formation in Shillong, were vested with the religious habit, together with 27 of their companions. Novices Suares Melton and Kalayil Mathew were vested at Don Bosco Sunnyside at Upper Shillong, in a solemn concelebrated Eucharist.

Soon to make their 1st vows as Salesians of Don Bosco, on 24 May 2020, the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians, Novices Suares and Kalayil are part of the Novitiate batch consisting of other 27 novices - 17 from Shillong [INS], 09 from Guwahati [ING], and 01 from Panjim [INP].

The simple yet profound Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Father James Thyrniang, acting Provincial and Economer of the Salesian Province of Shillong [INS]. Novice Master Father V T Jose and Socius Father Francisco Dhar concelebrated.
