On 03 July 2021, Shelter Don Bosco [SDB] had its Investiture Ceremony for new leaders, with the theme: “With great power comes great responsibility". These were student leaders who form part of the student cabinet representing the Children’s Parliament at Shelter Don Bosco. Father Cleophas Braganza, Asst. parish Priest and Administrator St. Dominic Savio Church, Wadala [E] was the chief guest on the occasion.

The event began with a short prayer service which highlighted the importance of leadership with reference to 03 religious scriptures. After the prayer service the Solemn Oath Ceremony was conducted during which SDB Rector- Father Lester Fernandes, received the solemn promises and the oath by the leaders. Chief Guest - Father Braganza then invested the leaders with a sash and their respective house flag. After the ceremony the score board for the academic year 2021-22 was unveiled and each leader chose a team name for his group.

In his address, Father Braganza, highlighted the importance of servant leadership and encouraged the leaders to be good liaisons between the management, staff and students.
