The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Mumbai started 02 batches in March 2021 with 100 students in advanced tailoring and advanced beauty care, financially supported by the Mahanagar Gas Limited CSR initiative MGLSparsh-MGL Disha Project

The classes were conducted through online video conferencing , with 02-hour instruction classes daily, which was successfully completed by all 100 students in June 2021. The practicals (hands- on) experience, exams and placements were completed in July 2021. A few of the beauty care students have obtained employment while others have started their own business.

DBDS Mumbai further intends to distribute 20 sewing machines and 20 beauty care kits to the best performing students in August 2021.
