On June 21, 2025, Don Bosco Academy Nerul marked World Music Day with a musical evening bringing together students, staff, music lovers and professional musicians to celebrate the power of music.
The celebration featured over 20 stunning performances—ranging from solo vocals, duets, and instrumental acts to high-energy group performances. Each artist brought their unique style and emotion to the stage, turning the evening into a rich blend of genres, cultures, and moods.
The program opened with a heartfelt welcome by Fr Barnabe D’Souza, Director of Don Bosco Academy, who reflected on how music touches lives, builds bridges, and brings peace in a noisy world. His words set the tone for an evening rooted in both celebration and reflection.
Anchors Riddhi Bhatia and Mahima Martin guided the event with elegance and enthusiasm, seamlessly introducing each performance while keeping the audience engaged and energized. Their lively commentary and warm presence kept the rhythm flowing between acts.
The evening reached its crescendo with a show-stopping grand finale by the band, Kagaz. Their powerful, original performance brought the house down and left the audience on their feet—cheering, clapping, and swaying to the beat.
The World Music Day Celebration at Don Bosco Academy, Nerul, was not just an event—it was an experience. It was a vibrant reminder that while classrooms build intellect, it is the stage that nurtures the soul. With talent, teamwork, and the magic of music, the evening became a melody that will resonate long after the final note.
