Every year, the Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco gives a theme (Strenna), to start from the New Year, that serves as a roadmap for the entire Salesian Family. This year too, the Rector Major-Father Angel Fernandez Artime has given such a theme - 'Moved by Hope' (Strenna 2021).

Given the unique prevailingcircumstances, the world premiere of the Rector Major’s Strenna 2021 will take place on 26 December 2020. The programme will consist in the Rector Major-Father Artime, meeting with the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) Mother General at the FMA Generalate in Rome at 16:00 (UTC +1). Father Artime will present a preview of the Strenna 2021, according to a time-honoured tradition (the Strenna each year is 1st presented to the FMA nuns).

At 18:00 (UTC +1), for the 1st time in history, the Strenna presentation will be premiered live - worldwide, on the Agenzia Notizie Salesiana (ANS) Facebook page, with simultaneous comments in 05 languages. Soon after, the Rector Major will be available for an interview, where viewers from across the world can participate by posing questions.
