BIS #7286 SCOPE Hosts Farewell of Graduating Batch

By Ms. Natasha Nair for BIS Mumbai

On 28 August 2024, Skilling College of Paramedical Education (SCOPE) marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the farewell of its first graduating batch. The ceremony, which honored the achievements of its students, was a formal program, highlighting the culmination of their dedicated efforts.

Ms Ankita Rout, recognized for her exemplary performance, was awarded the Best Student Award, a testament to her hard work and commitment throughout the course. Her achievement set a benchmark for future students of the program.

The farewell featured an organized program by the students, which included musical performances and a dance, reflecting their appreciation and respect for the institution and its faculty. The students took this opportunity to express their gratitude to their teachers Ms Shabina, Ms Nutan, and Ms Farheen, whose guidance and support had been instrumental in their academic and personal growth. Program coordinator Akshay was also commended for his significant contributions to the success of the event and the program as a whole.

In a gesture of appreciation, the students presented a small token of their gratitude to the Don Bosco staff, acknowledging the nurturing environment that had played a crucial role in their education.

Fr Barnabe, in his address, emphasized the promising opportunities that lie ahead in the medical sector, reassuring the students of their employability and the value of their skills. He encouraged the graduates to serve as brand ambassadors for the SCOPE program, highlighting the importance of their role as the first batch of students to complete the course.

The event concluded with the students sharing their reflections and feedback, all of which were filled with praise for their teachers and the staff of Don Bosco. One of the students spoke of how she was unable to complete her course and now she has completed the DMLT course after a gap of 20 years. Her sense of fulfillment from her feedback is a true reflection of the spirit of SCOPE, a place where education goes hand in hand with care, and where every student is nurtured to reach their full potential. It celebrated the strong foundations laid by SCOPE College, as these graduates step confidently into their future careers in the medical field .

As the first batch of graduates, these students left not just with certificates, but with the confidence and knowledge to make a difference in the world, carrying with them the values and lessons that SCOPE and the Stellar DB Academy instilled in them.
