BIS #7413 Annual Sports Fest at Don Bosco Borivali

Celebrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and talent, Don Bosco School Borivali began its two-day Annual Sports Fest on November 21, 2024. Fr Manuel Murzello and Fr Diego Nunes were the guest for the two-day Sports Fest.
The Sports Fest commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the torch and the hoisting of the school flag. All the students took the Sportsman Oath led by the School Captain Mst Joy Corenlius promising to uphold the values of fairness, respect and integrity in all their endeavours.
Fr Murzello, in his address on the first day encouraged the students to embrace challenges and strive for excellence. Fr Nunes, on the second day, motivated everyone to always stay fit physically while also maintaining one's mental well-being.
The cultural segment of the opening ceremony featured a dynamic aerobics display, a Lezim dance and a Mallakhamb performance showcasing strength and agility while bringing a cultural richness into the event.
In his address, Fr Flovi D'Souza, the Principal, emphasized the role of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and holistic growth. His inspiring message reinforced the school's dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
The two-day event consisted of a series of competitions and races between students of the different school groups competing for the prized first place. At the close of the event, the students were left with a feeling of nostalgia and filled with the spirit of camaraderie, creativity, and dedication.
