Don Bosco Chinchwad welcomed its latest batch of students at a vibrant Induction Ceremony, marking a new chapter focused on learning, skill development, and holistic growth.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to dignitaries and students, highlighting the institution’s mission “To form good citizens by nurturing talent and developing skills for life.” The event opened on a joyful note with a melodious welcome song performed by the students.
Distinguished guests included Mr Tarun Mhaske, GIZ Technical Advisor; Mr Sashikant Patil, Principal of Morwadi ITI; Mr Gaurav Choudhary, Schaeffler representative; Mr Sashikant Rode, Deputy General Manager of Skilling at TATA Motors; along with Fr Anton D’Souza, Director of Don Bosco Chinchwad, and Mr. Nilesh Chandgude, the institution’s Principal.
Fr D’Souza felicitated the guests, followed by a detailed course overview presented by Principal Chandgude. The dignitaries delivered motivating addresses, offering guidance and encouragement to the students.
A groundbreaking model of collaborative training was launched in the Pimpri-Chinchwad (PCMC) area, bringing together educational and industrial leaders to revolutionize vocational education.
Don Bosco Chinchwad and Morewadi Technical Institute have joined hands with GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), Schaeffler India, and TATA Motors to initiate a unique training program aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements.
Morewadi Technical Institute has announced a new initiative to provide training in Electric Vehicles (EV) to 100 students. To kick off the program, the DBVPK team along with the Morewadi Technical Team conducted an orientation program for the students and their parents.
This collaborative effort aims to equip students with the latest skills in the rapidly growing EV sector. The Morewadi staff will monitor the progress of the students and carry out periodic follow-ups to ensure effective learning.
The students expressed great enthusiasm and excitement at the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and prepare for careers in the electric vehicle industry.
The ceremony culminated with the official declaration of the Electric Vehicle (EV) batch by the dignitaries. A group photograph session and high tea concluded the event, fostering camaraderie among participants.
