Don Bosco High School, Borivli, celebrated their Annual Thanksgiving Day on 1 and 2 February 2023. The theme for the celebration 'Dance of the World' chose to celebrate dance forms from across the globe.

The first day of the event was organised by the students of the middle school; while the second day was jointly organised by students of the High School, Junior College and the NIOS section.

On 1 February, the additional Principal Chief Conservator of forests of the western wildlife region, Dr V. Clement Ben (IFS) graced the occasion as the chief guest. On 2 February, captivating everyone with her presence, Dr Bhagyasshri  Kapse, the deputy Municipal Commissioner, was the chief guest for the day.

The very elegant guard of honour, being commanded by the school captain, assisted by the house captains and the team led the guests to the auditorium amidst loud cheers and a thunderous applause. The comperes began the evening by welcoming the guests and the members of the management on the dais for felicitation. The chief guests, on both the days, very beautifully elucidated the importance of education in an institution like Don Bosco, and its impact on the young minds studying there.

After this, the much awaited cultural program began. In varied costumes, students danced to the beats of music from all around the world. The school chose this theme to educate the students about the varied cultures and traditions of the world, through the fun and engaging medium of dance.

Adding to the whole charismatic aura of the celebrations was the grand finale – a splendid and captivating performance by students from all the groups.  Through this performance, they gracefully brought to life the essence of the theme of the event. The guests and parents were thrilled to see the students display such energetic and captivating performances.
