Mumbai Salesians' Father Rolvin D'Mello-Executive Director Don Bosco Development Society [DBDS] delivered the keynote address at the online inaugural ceremony for a new batch commencement on 04 September 2020, of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SPJIMR [S. P. Jain Institute of Management Research] Andheri-Mumbai, one of the premium B-schools in India.

Father D'Mello, an alumnus of the SPJIMR Post Graduation Programme in Development Management [PGPDM], delivered the keynote address focussing on 04 points:

• Need to adapt to the 'new normal' - only those who adapt can 'survive'

• Looking at crises as opportunities

• Self-responsibility: all learning is just beyond the screen; online learning

• Personalising the learning - learning for life rather than just for exams

The online inaugural ceremony from 9 to 10 am, was attended by the SPJIMR Dean, HoDs and most faculty members, apart from the new students. Father D'Mello says, "It was an absolutely humbling experience for me to be invited to address the new batch of management students in the very same college that I studied in, a couple of years ago."
