Alirajpur, July 7, 2025: Don Bosco Academy, Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh, hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 with great dignity, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility on July 7. The ceremony marked a significant occasion where the school celebrated student leadership, academic excellence, and shared values.
The event began with a ceremonial Guard of Honour. The school then gave a traditional and graceful welcome to the chief guests. This year’s ceremony became especially memorable as the school invited the district’s top-performing students from the previous academic year, along with their proud parents and guardians, as guests of honour.
Among the guests honoured were Manya Gupta of Class 10, who secured first rank in the district, and Khushal Kothari of Class 10, who placed second. Vandan Kothari of Class 12, the district topper, and Ridhi Tomar, also of Class 12, who ranked second, attended along with their families. Ummehani Merchant of Class 12, who placed third, was present with her father. These achievers and their families filled the school with pride, joy, and a deep sense of inspiration.
Fr Charlin, Principal of Don Bosco Academy, formally welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries were introduced by Sir Gehlot, coordinator of the middle and high secondary section, and Tr Shubhra, coordinator of the higher secondary section. The school community felicitated the dignitaries, acknowledging their presence and contribution.
The ceremony unfolded in two significant parts. In the first, the newly elected student leaders received their badges and house flags—symbols of their duties and commitment to the school. Fr Principal then led them in the Oath Ceremony, where they pledged to uphold their responsibilities with sincerity. In the second part, Fr Mathew invested the class monitors with their roles, and Fr Xavier administered the oath, reminding them of their duty to promote discipline and service.
Both students and parents of the top achievers stepped forward and delivered heartfelt speeches. They shared their pride and motivation, which deeply resonated with the audience.
Fr Principal concluded the event with an inspiring message. He urged students to make wise choices and thoughtful decisions in life, supported by the guidance of parents and teachers. He reminded both educators and parents to stay attentive to the individual needs of every child, recognizing their vital role in shaping young minds. He quoted Donald McGannon’s powerful words, "Leadership is action, not position,” and encouraged the newly elected student leaders to perform their roles with sincerity, dedication, and a strong commitment to the school’s growth.
