A seminar on the 'Vital Qualities of Success' was organized for the students of Don Bosco Academy, on July 18, 2025 at Alirajpur featuring three invited guests from diverse professional backgrounds. Mr Aigbefoh engaged the students with a structured and interactive session focused on identifying the essential attributes that contribute to personal and professional success. He highlighted values such as hardwork, courage, self-confidence, self-discipline, prayerfulness, focus, honesty, courtesy, Initiative and determination.
He also outlined ten common pitfalls to avoid, including smoking, alcohol, hard drugs, fighting, gambling, intimate relationships, cultism, handling weapons, lying and stealing.
A notable part of the session was his explanation of the concept of "Types of Youth" those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened. He also laid emphasis on the factors that will determine the future of the students such as thoughts, habits, attitude, friends and commitment to God.
Mr Aigbefoh also outlined a youth-specific Code of Conduct, urging the students to demonstrate accountability, respect, punctuality, and moral responsibility.
He concluded the session with a reflective message:
"Your thoughts determine your actions
Your actions determine your habits.
Your habits determine your attitude.
Your attitude determines your character.
Your character determines your life or future.”
The seminar served as a practical guide for students to understand the link between character formation and long-term success. The participants responded with attentiveness and interest, marking the event as a valuable addition to their educational journey.
