On the evening of September 14, the Stellar Don Bosco Academy came alive with the sound of music, laughter, and vibrant energy, as the much-anticipated Open Mic event took center stage. The evening began with a warm welcome to the participants from Fr Barnabe D’Souza, Director DBA, Nerul, who expressed his excitement for the showcase of talent that was about to unfold. Mr Emmanuel Das, the compere for the night, took the reins to introduce the performers and keep the atmosphere lively, adding his own flair to the proceedings.

The evening commenced with a series of musical performances that set the tone for a night filled with rhythm and soul. Some participants took to the keyboard, weaving intricate melodies that captivated the audience, while others switched up the mood with smooth guitar tunes, accompanying their soulful singing. Each performer brought their unique style, creating a harmonious blend of genres that kept the crowd engaged.

Comedy also had its moment under the spotlight, as some participants took the stage to deliver hilarious stand-up routines. The comedy performances with their witty observations and punchlines helped to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, with the audience frequently breaking into laughter. These acts provided a fun contrast to the musical performances and ensured there was never a dull moment during the event.  

Rounding off the evening, one of the most electrifying performances came from a participant who took to the stage with a rap performance. Their rapid-fire verses and powerful delivery injected a fresh burst of energy into the room, leaving the crowd cheering and buzzing.
