BIS #6644 Training Auxiliary Personnel

By Fr Cedrick Sankul for BISMumbai

Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, had an orientation programme for the non- teaching staff of the school. Every year, orientation programmes are conducted for the teachers. This year it was decided to have the same for the non-teaching staff too.

Fr Christopher George took a session for the non-teaching staff of the institution. After inquiring about how each one of them joined the institution he asked them about aspiration and dreams. In the session he largely dealt with the care of children. He told them about Don Bosco and how he started working for the youngsters. He also dealt with problems and issues that could arise among themselves. He emphasized that they were the face of the institution and that they needed to be respectful and gentle in their mannerism.

At the end of the session, Mrs Jyoti Borde expressed gratitude to Fr Christopher for the meaningful training that was imparted. Indeed, the non-teaching staff were happy to have this orientation as it was the first of its kind at Don Bosco, Nashik.
