Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, was high on enthusiasm on 16 December 2023 as it celebrated its Annual Day with grandeur. The theme for this year's event, "Live and Let Live" resonated throughout the festivities, emphasising the values of harmony, unity, and peaceful coexistence.

The prestigious event was graced by Mrs Supriya Chitre as the Chief Guest. The ambience buzzed with excitement as more than 1500 parents, students, and esteemed guests gathered to witness the spectacle, showcasing the multifaceted talents of the students.

Fr Royal D'Abreo, the Rector, set the tone for the evening with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. He underscored the significance of the theme, urging the audience to embrace the philosophy of "Live and Let Live" in their daily lives. His inspiring words encouraged the students to work hard, dream big and foster a spirit of success.

The event kicked off with a beautiful prayer dance that captivated the audience, creating a serene and solemn ambience. The subsequent valedictory ceremony acknowledged the academic and extraordinary achievements of the students, highlighting their dedication and hard work. A presentation showcased the school's journey throughout the year, encapsulating a myriad of events and activities.

The audience was treated to scintillating dance performances by different classes, leaving everyone spellbound. The dances conveyed powerful messages about core values such as courage, humanity, and happiness. 

Mrs Chitre, in her address, commended the school management for providing a platform that channels the students' energy in the right direction. Drawing from her experience in the Indian Air Force as a squadron leader, she emphasised the importance of punctuality and advised the students never to take anything for granted in life.

Fr Cedrick Sankul, the Principal, extended his gratitude to the Chief Guest for gracing the occasion and applauded the school management for their unwavering support. He commended the collaborative efforts of the Don Bosco staff and students, acknowledging their dedication to making the Annual Day a resounding success.

The grand finale, a culmination of various sections on stage, delivered the universal message of "Live and Let Live" to the audience. The event concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone present.
