On August 16, 2024, coinciding with the birth anniversary of our patron saint, John Bosco, Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, proudly launched its school news channel, DBN Insider. The channel was officially brought to life by the Provincial Fr Savio Silveira, who made the YouTube channel public with a simple click.

The launch event was graced by the presence of Rector Dr Fr Barnabe D'Souza, Principal Mrs Kalyani Chaudhari, Vice-Principal and Administrator Fr Shekhar Mariadas, Student Mentor Fr Adolph Furtado, Catechist Fr Allwyn Misquitta, along with the Headmistress, Supervisors, Teachers, and distinguished guests.

DBN Insider is a testament to the school's commitment to sharing its vibrant community life beyond the school gates, allowing families, relatives, friends, and well-wishers to partake in our events, workshops, celebrations, and triumphs.

The Editorial Team, led by Tr Sharmila Kudre and Tr Debjani Bhattacharya, collaborated with the Presenters' Team—Master Amey Deshpande, Miss Lyndel Fernandes, Master Melvin Fernandez, and Miss Shruti M. Thevar—to compile reports, photographs, and curate the channel's content. The video production and editing were expertly handled by Mr Bipin Purushothaman from The Stellar DB Academy, while the title and background score were composed by Mr Sean Rebello. The professional appearance of the presenters was crafted by Miss Deepa Marcos, also from The Stellar DB Academy. The team worked in unison under the guidance of Principal Mrs Kalyani Chaudhari to bring this project to realization.

During the launch, the presenters reflected on their experiences and learning. Master Melvin expressed his happiness in being part of this historic moment, while Miss Lyndel shared her newfound understanding of the finer nuances of editing. We are excited to announce that the next edition of DBN Insider will be presented in the coming quarter.
