On May 1, 2025, Stellar Don Bosco Academy, Nerul, hosted a landmark Visioning Exercise that brought together a diverse and inspiring group of stakeholders—including Salesian leaders, industry experts, educators, NGO heads, and creative professionals—to collaboratively chart the future direction of the Academy. This milestone event was graced by distinguished guests: Ms Priscilla Buthello (Industrialist and Vice Chairperson of Citizens Cooperative Bank), Mr Jose Peter (Industrialist, Managing Director and Founder of Arogya Finance, and Founder Director of Life Anchors), and Dr Glen Mascarenhas (Dentist and Founder Director of Life Anchors).

The proceedings commenced with the Rector Fr Barnabe D’Souza sharing the Academy’s inspiring journey and mission since its inception on October 22, 2022. This was followed by a warm welcome address by Mr Rajesh Ohri, Chief Operating Officer of the Academy, who set the tone for an engaging and forward-looking session.

Mr Alex Emmanuel, a highly experienced HR Advisor known for shaping vision statements for diverse organisations, facilitated the session with insight and expertise. Through a structured series of individual reflections and group exercises, he led the participants on a journey of shared discovery and purpose.

A key highlight of the event was the active participation of the invited experts, who contributed their diverse perspectives during the discussions. They offered valuable insights on education, innovation, youth empowerment, and social impact—reinforcing the Academy’s vision to nurture changemakers and compassionate leaders.

Rooted in the Salesian ethos and driven by values of innovation, inclusivity, and social responsibility, the Visioning Meet was a deeply meaningful opportunity to reflect on the path ahead. The session culminated in the collaborative creation of a unified vision statement for the Academy, marking a significant step in its growth journey.

This powerful convergence of minds and missions reaffirmed Stellar Don Bosco Academy’s unwavering commitment to shaping a future that truly lives up to the ‘Stellar’ name it proudly bears.
