On July 12, 2024, Don Bosco School, Yerwada, joyously celebrated its Golden Jubilee Inaugural Ceremony, a momentous occasion marking fifty years of our proud history. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries, symbolizing the ushering in of brightness and hope for the future.

Our Respected Principal, Fr. Crispino D'Souza warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest, Fr. Edward D'Souza as  a visionary and a former Principal of the school  in the year 1998 who initiated value education classes. He was also influential in implementing the house system, organized the investiture ceremony etc. Mr. John Paul, was  honored along with the municipal Council leader and active social worker for his invaluable contributions to our institution over the years.

The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of the meticulously designed Golden Jubilee Logo, a symbol representing our rich heritage and ambitious aspirations for the future.

Fr. D'Souza delivered an inspiring address that deeply resonated with the audience, emphasizing the values of perseverance and community that define our institution. He assured students that when they stand under the arch of Don Bosco Educomplex Pune

they must never be bogged down by the challenges and challenges should never deter them from their goals. Fr. D'Souza, also warned the students that while we grow in our thoughts and creativity we must never forget that we are humans. He also stated that it is not just celebration  of 50  years but it is the celebration of our values of  loyalty, honesty, love and compassion  learnt from our founder St. John Bosco. Educators at Don Bosco are blessed with a golden heart.  Their sympathy and compassion have transformed many lives.

The celebration continued with the melodious rendition of the Golden Jubilee Song, composed to honor our institution’s enduring legacy. The kindergarten section added to the festivities with a delightful dance performance, capturing the youthful spirit and joy of our students. Mr. John Paul shared his experiences and vision for the future, highlighting the importance of education and community engagement in shaping young minds. His steadfast commitment always shines through and his love for the school children is truly commendable.

One of the highlights of the day was a heartfelt skit titled "Dream of Don Bosco at the Age of Nine" performed by our talented students. The skit portrayed the inspirational journey of our founder, resonating deeply with the audience and reminding everyone of the values and vision that continue to guide us today.

The Golden Jubilee Inaugural Ceremony not only celebrated our past achievements but also reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing future generations with values of integrity, compassion, and academic excellence. As we reflect on fifty years of success, we look forward with optimism and determination to the bright future that lies ahead for our institution. To commemorate this very special occasion Don Bosco Educomplex will host a series of inter school cultural events.
