Don Bosco Nerul marked the start of the Evening Oratory for the new academic year on June 27, 2025. The event was a collaborative effort by the Social Development Team and the Evening Oratory staff, echoing the spirit of Don Bosco's enduring legacy of loving the young and letting them know that they are loved.
The evening commenced with a prayer, invoking God's presence at the start of the year. Fr Shekhar Mariadas, and Mr Raajesh Ohri graced the event as Chief Guests. Mr Ohri delivered a powerful motivational address focused on youth empowerment, drawing attention to the importance of character, resilience, and purpose—especially for the SSC students and outgoing volunteers.
Mr Mathew George, Supervisor of the Social Development Department, acknowledged the hard work of the SSC students and specially thanked Br Alan D’Silva and the dedicated teachers for their tireless commitment, which led to the academic success of 11 students.
The celebration continued with vibrant cultural performances—dance and music filled the air with joy, laughter, and energy. In appreciation of their service, certificates were awarded to all 12 volunteers from Xavier’s College by Fr Mariadas.
