Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul celebrated Father's Day with heartfelt enthusiasm across its foundational sections, offering students and their fathers an opportunity to bond through interactive and joyful experiences.
At the Dominic Savio Kindergarten, the celebration featured 'Papa on Stage!', where fathers enthusiastically engaged in singing, storytelling, and stage activities alongside their children. A thematic dress code titled 'Twinning' and 'What Do You Aspire to Be?' encouraged father-child pairs to dress up as professionals or superheroes. These activities fostered creativity, enhanced student confidence, and strengthened emotional bonds between fathers and their children.
The program also aimed to support early childhood education by incorporating meaningful parent-child interactions that contribute to emotional well-being and communication skills.
Fr Shekhar Mariadas, Vice-Principal of the school, addressed the gathering and encouraged all to cherish time with their children.
Simultaneously, classes I and II celebrated Father's Day in their respective classrooms with an engaging activity with their fathers. The activity 'I Will Always Be There with You' saw fathers along with their children collaboratively create posters using handprints, symbolizing lifelong support. A lively Ramp Walk - Twinning Moment allowed participants to showcase coordinated outfits and handmade headgear, with children proudly introducing their fathers. The Best Twinning Father & Child title was awarded to the most well-coordinated pair.
The celebration ended on a heartfelt note, leaving behind warm memories and stronger bonds.
