BIS #5855 09 DAY GUJARAT PROJECT EVALUATION ENDS

The MumbaiSalesians' Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) - Province Planning and Development Office (PDO) coordinated "Project Gujarat" implemented in 100 villages of Chhotaudepur, Kawant, Narukot, Dakor and Kapadvanj 8n Gujarat State-India, funded by the German Federal Government, since September 2016, was evaluated over a 09 day period, concluding on 23 January 2020.

An evaluator-audit agency based in Georgia was given the arduous task, hired by the GFG to visit, analyse, scrutinise and provide a 'project progress' evaluation report. The project caters to the poor marginalised, below-the-poverty-line rural and tribal populace through education, livelihood skilling, youth career guidance and women empowerment initiatives.

Executive Director DBDS Father D'Mello exclaimed, "the evaluators were delighted with the progress of the project, and we are more enthused to continue our service of empowering the most marginalised."
