Nerul, Mumbai: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, received a Certificate of Recognition for Leadership in Technology Integration at the Mumbai Sahodaya Leadership Conclave 2025. The event brought together educational leaders from across the region to share insights and best practices in school leadership, innovation, and future-oriented pedagogy.
Representing the school at the conclave were Mrs Jyotsna Dsouza, Headmistress, and Mrs Reena Dias, Supervisor of the Middle Stage. The conclave witnessed participation from more than 100 school heads and educators, with sessions addressing key themes such as the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), artificial intelligence in classrooms, the mental and emotional health of teachers and students and fostering empathetic leadership at the helm of every institution.
Eminent educationists and policymakers from CBSE addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role of technology and innovation in redefining learning spaces for holistic growth of students.
Don Bosco Nerul was recognised for its for its consistent and innovative efforts in implementing smart classroom solutions across all grade levels and training teachers in digital pedagogy and blended learning. Don Bosco Nerul has also begun using AI-based platforms and digital tools for lesson planning and to personalize student learning for gifted learners and remediation of students with learning issues. The use of data-driven teaching strategies and digital assessment practices are also being used to enhance teaching learning effectiveness.
