Don Bosco Chhotaudepur Past-Pupil's Association organised an invitational 02-day 10-a-side football tournament on 19-20 September 2020 with the guidance of Father Daresh Rathwa at Don Bosco Fatehpura Hostel, in which 12 teams from the 02 districts of Chhotaudepur and Vadodara participated. Chhotaudepur Football Club (CFC) emerged winners in an exciting contest.

The 02-day tournament was organized entirely by the young past-pupils. Manish, a member of the core committee said, “Since it is my first experience, the preparations were challenging. However, I had the support of my friends which has made the difference!” Each match was contested for 40 minutes in 02 halves of 20 minutes each. Healthy competition and teamwork was evident on and off the field. Extra precaution was taken with sanitizers, fresh drinking water and lime made available to the participants, to ensure 'corona' was kept at bay.

Vipul, a member of the ONGC team said, “The tournament was a success. The refereeing was good and the ground was prepared well.” Sanjay, a member of the Francis team said, “All the teams were supportive and this the first step to start our own professional club!”
