Borivali, July 8, 2025: The Investiture Ceremony held on July 8, 2025 at Don Bosco School Borivali, Mumbai, commenced with traditional formalities, beginning with the Guard of Honour followed by the warm welcome of distinguished dignitaries. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Fr Manuel Murzello (Rector), Fr Ranson D'Souza (Principal), Fr Vishal Lopes, Fr Mario Vaz, Fr Cletus D'Souza, Fr Aloysius Furtado, Ms Neelam Rodrigues, Ms Pooja Kadam, and Ms Charusheela Pujare. The 2025 theme "Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with the Young" was introduced, setting an inspirational tone for the academic year and emphasizing the institution's commitment to guiding young minds with hope and purpose.
The highlight of the ceremony was the investiture of the newly appointed student council. Miss Anuya Welling took oath as School Captain, while Master Cayden Pinto was appointed School Vice-Captain. Leaders representing both the SSC and CBSE sections were invested as house captains and vice-captains.
From the SSC section, Red House was led by Master Johan Ferriera and Master Caden Crasto, Blue House by Miss Pranjal Waghela and Miss Gianna Martis, Green House by Master Jayden D’Souza and Master Arnav Gaurav, and Yellow House by Master Emmanuel Lobo and Master Asher Aranha. In the CBSE section, Nicole Joseph (Red House), Zac Fernandes (Blue House), Samaira Rodrigues (Green House), and Ian Rodrigues (Yellow House) were entrusted with their responsibilities. Class monitors from various grades also took their solemn oaths, pledging to uphold their responsibilities with dedication and integrity.
The ceremony concluded with meaningful addresses from both the Rector and Principal, who shared inspiring messages with the newly invested leaders and the entire school community. Miss Anuya Welling, in her capacity as School Captain, graciously proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the presence of all dignitaries and the significance of the occasion. The formal proceedings came to a fitting close with the singing of both the National Anthem and the School Anthem, reinforcing the values of patriotism and institutional pride among all attendees.
