BIS #7339 Don Bosco Chinchwad Witnesses Historic Day

Don Bosco Chinchwad marked a significant milestone as 26 girls embarked on their journey in the Electrical Vehicle (EV) course on October 1, 2024. The institute's Director, Fr Anton D'Souza, warmly welcomed dignitaries and students.

The event began with a welcome song by Don Bosco students, setting the tone for an inspiring day.

Fr D'Souza quoted Don Bosco, emphasizing his vision for empowering youth, especially the marginalized. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts of Don Bosco Society, Schaeffler, and Don Bosco Mondo in establishing the state-of-the-art EV laboratory.

Mr Sachin Jadhav, Assistant Commissioner of Maharashtra for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, applauded Don Bosco Institute's initiatives. He urged the girls to maximize the opportunities and promised support.

The ceremony reached its crescendo as Mrs Hazel Fernandes mesmerized the audience with her soulful rendition of the newly composed Institute anthem, her voice echoing through the halls. Simultaneously, Mrs Rachel Pinto ensured the moment was captured for posterity by launching and uploading the event video on the Institute's YouTube channel, sharing the inspiration with a wider audience.

Mr Nilesh Chandgude, the Principal, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff and students for their tireless efforts, dedication, and teamwork that made the event a resounding success."Their collective passion and commitment have truly embodied the spirit of Don Bosco," he said.
