This two-day conference featured a wide array of dynamic committees including JCC Cabinet 1 & 2, COPOUS, SDG-5, UNSC, UNHRC, Lok Sabha, and the International Press, all of which engaged in high-level debates and simulations addressing pressing global and national issues.
The Opening Ceremony set a dignified tone with the presence of the Guest of Honour and student mentor Fr Adolph Furtado, Rector Fr Barnabe Dsouza, Principal Mrs Kalyani Chaudhuri, Senior School Supervisor Mrs Cleona Quadras, and Coordinator Mrs Lisa Dominic. Their inspiring words encouraged delegates to actively participate and embrace the spirit of diplomacy and dialogue.
Each committee had a distinct theme, expertly guided by a seasoned executive board:

UNSC, under Rohnish Singh and Mihika Rao, deliberated on the use of child soldiers amid the crisis in Burkina Faso, addressing humanitarian and security challenges.
Lok Sabha, chaired by Rhea Khanolkar, replicated Indian parliamentary procedures with debates centered on the abrogation of Article 370, encouraging analysis of its constitutional and legal implications.
COPOUS, co-chaired by Saamit Upadhye and Shivam Ahuja, explored the implications of the privatization of space resources, prompting thought-provoking conversations on ownership and governance of outer space.
SDG-5, led by Divyansh Singh and Samyukta Menon, tackled gender equality, pushing for actionable ideas to empower women and girls globally.
The International Press, managed by Paurushi Mahar (journalism) and Sreevishnu Nag (photography), reported committee proceedings while reflecting on the broader influence of media and photojournalism in shaping global narratives.
To ensure delegates were well-prepared and supported, the school offered virtual masterclasses, comprehensive study guides, four-course lunches, high tea, a Delegate Bash, and official certificates and trophies. These thoughtful additions, combined with an experienced executive board, enhanced the quality of the conference and maintained an atmosphere of decorum and respect.
A major highlight was the Delegate Bash, providing a fun and informal platform for students to network, socialize, and relax after a day of intense debate—strengthening the community spirit of the event.
The closing ceremony welcomed Mrs Swati Deshpande, Senior Editor at The Times of India, Mumbai, as the Chief Guest. Her address highlighted the value of youth participation in global discourse. The ceremony culminated with an awards distribution, where top performers were recognized with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates, celebrating their excellence in diplomacy and research.
