BIS #6209 'Khushiyon ke rang, bacchon ke sang' at BBH Borivli

by Brother Allan Netto for BISMumbai

Friday 13 November 2020, was a day of entertainment and enjoyment for boys ranging from ages 08 to 21 as Bosco Boys' Home [BBH] Borivli anticipated Childrens' Day celebrations with the theme 'Khushiyon ke rang, bacchon ke sang'.

Waking up with music, the boys attired in their simple yet best clothes looking cute and dashingly handsome, awaited the daylong celebrations to unfold. Post-breakfast, a short prayer-action song, followed by instructions for the day kick-started the variety entertainment with skits, songs, dances, fete-games, and free time till the festive lunch.

The afternoon was celebrated with 'housie' interspersed with surprise attractions like jokes, shayaris, and dance performance by the teachers; Throw-ball between the juniors v/s teaching and non-teaching lady-staff and Volleyball between the seniors v/s teaching and non-teaching men-staff. A delicious tea-snack wound up the day of activity and fun with 'free' relaxation time till dinner was served.

Happy and grateful, the boys appreciated the management and staff for organizing this special memorable day of fun and expressed their 'thanks' for the daily care and love showered by the Salesians and the lay care-takers at BBH.
