BIS #7320 Dramatics Competition at Don Bosco Nashik

Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik hosted a captivating dramatics competition on September 19 and 20, emphasizing the vital theme of Caring for Mother Earth, Go Green, and Recycling. The two-day event showcased students’ creativity and passion for environmental conservation.
The competition commenced with “Eco Group,” students carrying placards and slogans promoting eco-friendly practices. This set the tone for the event, inspiring the students to adopt sustainable habits.
On Day 1, students performed thought-provoking skits, including “The Plastic Trap” and “Earth’s Cry,” highlighting the dangers of single-use plastics and pollution. These performances sparked meaningful conversations among the students.
Dance performances, such as “Nature’s Harmony” and “Renewable Energy,” celebrated our planet’s beauty and emphasized the importance of solar and wind power. The audience was mesmerized by the students’ energetic and synchronized routines.
Day 2 began with an enlightening talk by a student on Climate Change, followed by a meaningful play, “The Green Revolution.” This inspired students to take action and become eco warriors.
Students showcased innovative costumes made from recycled materials, demonstrating their creativity and environmental awareness. Judges praised the students' resourcefulness and originality.
The skits continued on Day 2, with “The Recycling Bin” and “Eco-Club “ demonstrating waste management and sustainable living. These performances encouraged the audience to adopt eco-friendly habits.
The competition concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding performances. Fr Jaysheelan SDB and Brother Stephan SDB emphasized collective responsibility in preserving our planet. Fr Rixson Nigrel, the Principal encouraged the students to integrate eco-friendly practices into their daily lives.
The dramatics competition successfully spread awareness about environmental issues, inspiring students to protect Mother Earth for future generations. Don Bosco School and Junior College’s “Go Green” initiative will continue to inspire environmental stewardship.
