by Father McEnroe Lopes for BISMumbai

On 18 January 2020, the Mumbai Salesians' new priests were warmly welcomed at Don Bosco Yerwada-Pune by the Salesians, school staff and students.

At a well-animated morning Eucharist with the Catholic students, enhanced by meaningful hymns, Father Clarence Martis narrated his vocation story, tying it up with the call of Matthew, saying, "when Jesus calls one's life can never be the same."

Father McEnroe Lopes-Mumbai Salesians' Vocation Promoter addressed the students present inviting them to discern God's call and the Salesian vocation, inviting boys for the vocation camp scheduled in the 1st week of May at Don Bosco Lonavla. Following this, the new priests met the students in different groups sharing their life-testimonies and for an animated interaction.

The highlight of the day was the planting of a sapling by the new priests, to commemorate their honeymoon visit to Don Bosco Yerwada, with the message to care for nature.
