DRISTI–Don Bosco, Kapadvanj, carries out various activities keeping in mind the wellbeing of rural people. In view of the monsoon season, a free health camp was held at ‘Lalatelina Muwada’ village on 16 July 2022. In this camp, a total of 95 patients were checked by doctors and given free medicine.

The camp was set up in a primary school, and the volunteers of the village and the women of the self-help group gave great support. On the day before the health camp, announcements were made in the village and pamphlets were distributed to the people. Dr Hardik Patel provided his services for the camp.

Along with this, a health awareness training was also organized for village girls and mothers in which matters like nutrition, vaccination, government schemes, personal hygiene were some of the key topics that were explained. A total of 40 women participated in the afternoon session. Both the training sessions were conducted by trainer Ms Sherin Parmar.
