“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader,” said Father Diego Nunes in his motivational speech to the leaders at the investiture ceremony, held at Bosco Boys Home, Borivali on 06 July 2020. At the start of the new academic year, 06 student leaders were appointed to shoulder various responsibilities and lead their teams.

Since Pope Francis has launched a year- long celebration of ‘Laudato Si’, the management and staff have chalked out plans for various ecological activities through the year starting with the 04 Teams in the institute that have been christened after the four elements: Earth (green), Water (Blue), Fire (Red), and Wind (Yellow).

The Investiture ceremony commenced with a meaningful prayer led by Cleric Jittin Varghese. The leaders then made a solemn entry into the venue after which they were invested with the sash and flag by Father Corlis Gonsalves-Rector BBH. Father Sunil Pinto conducted the Oath Ceremony encouraging the newly invested office-bearers to be change-makers and focus on the ‘Goal and never on their Role’

After the investiture and oath ceremony, the leaders along with their teams showcased their own unique team claps and yells for which they were awarded points. The event concluded with a photo-session while the corridors of Bosco Boys Home resounded with shouts of joy and hope.
