Management Day at Don Bosco High School, Borivali, was a heartfelt tribute to the selfless dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of our beloved Salesian priests, who tirelessly guide and nurture the school community. The celebration aimed to express gratitude and honour the pillars of our institution, whose vision and service have shaped countless young lives.
The morning began with a warm welcome for the management team—Fr Manuel, Fr Ranson, Fr Vishal, Fr Mario, Fr Aloysius, and Fr Cletus—who were escorted into the venue with a grand Guard of Honour, symbolising respect and admiration for their invaluable contributions. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and excitement as students, staff, and guests gathered to celebrate this special occasion.
The program commenced with a graceful Prayer Dance by the NIOS section, creating a serene and spiritual ambience. This was followed by a melodious song by the Don Bosco Choir Group, whose harmonious voices beautifully conveyed a message of gratitude and unity.
The Secondary Section then presented a vibrant Celebration Dance, radiating joy and enthusiasm. The felicitation segment followed, where speakers highlighted the many admirable qualities of the management team—their leadership, compassion, commitment to education, and unwavering faith. As a gesture of appreciation, they were honoured with tokens of love and gratitude from the students, teachers, staff and Don Bosco Alumni Association.
A moving musical skit was performed, portraying the sacrifices made by the Salesians in their mission to serve students and the school. Through expressive acting and music, the skit reflected the deep values of dedication, service, and love for humanity that our priests embody every day.
Adding a global cultural flavour, the College Section presented a lively World Dance, representing unity and diversity, and celebrating the universal spirit of service and togetherness.
Our Manager, Fr Manuel, then addressed the gathering, expressing his heartfelt thanks and sharing inspiring words that encouraged students to follow the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion.
The celebration concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all who contributed to the success of the event. The day ended on a high note with a group photograph featuring the management team, participating students, and staff members—a cherished memory of unity, respect, and celebration.
Management Day truly reflected the Don Bosco spirit—a community united in gratitude, guided by faith, and inspired by the selfless service of our Salesian fathers.
