On 9 June 2022, Don Bosco, Nerul, inaugurated a prayer room which was to be a place of prayer for people of all faiths. This was done at the request of the visitors and staff members of the institute.

The ceremony was held in the morning. It began with a hymn and a prayer for peace. Fr Barnabe D’souza, the Rector of the institution, addressed the assembly urging everyone to find time to pray. Fr D’Souza then blessed the prayer room. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the hymn ‘Make me a Channel of your Peace’.

This initiative provides much opportunity and reminder for prayer to those who frequent Don Bosco, Nerul.
