BIS #6780 E-Mobility Workshop Inaugurated at DB Aurangabad

By Fr Jesu Robinson for BISMumbai

Fr James Tuscano inaugurated the E-Mobility workshop at Don Bosco, Aurangabad, on 22 August 2022 - the feast day of the Queenship of Mary. This is yet another step towards the growth of the E-Mobility Technologist Course at Aurangabad which was inaugurated on 1 August. With the setting up of a work-shed for practicals, the students will have hands-on experience on vehicles.

These students are from the neighbouring villages getting trained to be E-Vehicle technicians. The practical application in this workshop is a good opportunity for the students to gain confidence to work in EV sectors of work. It is a six-month course which includes conversion of conventional vehicles to E-Vehicles, retrofitting battery swapping and charging.

The Salesians of Ahmednagar region were present for this event. They were welcomed with a tilak on their forehead along with Maharashtraian topi and uparna. The Salesains interacted with the students, motivating them and wishing them success.

Fr Tuscano blessed the workshop, and inaugurated it. In his speech, he inspired the boys saying: "Work hard, stand on your own feet: make your parents and this institution proud." He made them understand the responsibility bestowed upon them. He said: "What you are getting, share it with others, so that they too will benefit. Let this small plant grow into a mighty tree in future."

Fr Jesu Robinson, the director of the technical school, thanked everyone present for the occasion. He encouraged the students saying:, “Dear students, grab this opportunity which will make your future bright.”

The short inauguration programme ended with a hymn to Don Bosco.
