by Father Dinesh Vasava for BISMumbai

The morning of 06 January 2020 was a new dawn of blessing and grace for Don Bosco Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh. Newly Ordained MumbaiSalesian Priests - Fathers Bosco Carvalho, Clarence Martis, Jerome Aruldass, Mavron Fernandes and Xavier Bandya - arrived from Suket in Rajasthan and Vadodara in Gujarat, for the next stopover on their itinerary.

Post-breakfast, the newly ordained visited the Don Bosco Farm at Undhwa, spending some time taking in the wonderful cultivation of wheat, groundnuts, and onions, returning around 12 noon to meet up with the students. The interaction with the students of Classes 9A-B, 10 A-B, and 12fth Science, on their vocation journey overcoming various trials and difficulties culminated in a discussion on making appropriate career choices.

After lunch, an hour's interaction with the boarders, answering questions posed them was fruitful, after which a quick sight-seeing tour to the iconic and newly built Alirajpur Railway Station ensued. Sunset witnessed a well-animated concelebrated Eucharist presided over by Father Xavier Bandya, who stressed the gracious mercy and forgiveness of God. Thereafter, a heart warming family-circle with cultural items by the boarding students, followed by a festive dinner, brought the day to a cheerful close.
