BIS #7188 Inaugural SSC Board Convocation Ceremony

Don Bosco High School, Matunga, recently held its first ever convocation ceremony for the graduating class of 2023-2024, signifying a pivotal milestone. 

 The ceremony was charged with anticipation as graduates, adorned in their academic attire, eagerly awaited the commencement of their future endeavors. Dr Prateek Mohapatra, the Chief Guest was accompanied by Fr Godfrey D’Souza, the Rector of the institute. Dr Mohapatra is a distinguished alumnus from the institute and a successful professional in the medical field.

In his address to the students, Fr D’Souza exhorted the students to embrace not only their certificates but, more importantly, the core values of Don Bosco: love, compassion, and understanding. Dr Mohapatra, further emphasized the significance of becoming changemakers and the importance of embracing change with open arms.

 The ceremony culminated in a prestigious presentation of awards, recognizing and celebrating exceptional academic achievements. As graduates received their certificates, a palpable sense of accomplishment intermingled with a bittersweet farewell was felt. Equipped with the meticulously honed knowledge and skills garnered throughout their SSC tenure, they are now prepared to excel in their chosen fields.

 This historic convocation ceremony not only marked a significant achievement for Don Bosco High School but also served as a resounding testament to the dedication of Principal Anita Philip and her team in nurturing academic excellence among the students.
