On January 24, 2025, Sports Day at Don Bosco Academy, Alirajpur, was celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm and energy. The event was honoured by the presence of esteemed guests, Bishop Peter Kharadi, Bishop of Jhabua diocese, and Fr Mayank Parmar, SDB, Manager of Don Bosco Kawant, whose contributions were pivotal to the day’s remarkable success.

The ceremony commenced with great fanfare, welcoming the Chief Guests through the traditional Tilak Aarti, followed by an impressive Guard of Honour led by our dedicated scouts and guides. 

The program featured the hosting of the school flag and the spirited singing of the school anthem, which powerfully encapsulated the values and vision of Don Bosco Academy. The principal, Fr Charlin  Chandran delivered a warm welcome, introducing the distinguished guests and emphasizing how their presence elevated the significance of the occasion. Following this, the Chief Guests inspected the parade, underscoring the core values of discipline and teamwork.

The principal then presented the annual report, showcasing the impressive achievements and activities of the year, highlighting the excellence of our students. This was complemented by vibrant cultural performances from our talented students, including dynamic dumbbell and lezim dances, which infused a festive spirit into the program.

A standout moment was the lighting of the torch, a symbolic gesture that elevated the event to new heights. The day was packed with numerous sports activities, where students showcased their exceptional skills, passion, and competitive spirit. As the event concluded, it was clear that this Sports Day was a remarkable success, reflecting the dedication and talent of the entire Don Bosco Academy community.
