Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, sprang up with enthusiasm on December 13, 2024, as it hosted its Annual Day, themed ‘Dreams Unfold.’ The event was a celebration of the talents and aspirations of its students, highlighting their growth and the potential they hold for the future.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr Sudhakar Suradkar, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Nashik, who served as the Chief Guest, and Fr Ashley Miranda, Vice-Provincial of the Mumbai province, as the Guest of Honour. The event attracted over 1,500 attendees, including parents, students, and faculty, all eager to witness the display of the school’s diverse talent.

Fr Royal D'Abreo, Rector of Don Bosco, welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, stressing the importance of the occasion. He described the school as a second home to the students, encouraging them to strive for success, dream big, and work diligently towards their goals. His motivating words set a positive tone for the evening.

The celebrations began with a prayer dance that set a serene mood for the event. Mr Suradkar, in his address, praised the school for providing students with a platform to channel their energy positively. Drawing from his experience in law enforcement, he emphasized the value of hard work, discipline, and the importance of sports for overall development. He also captivated the audience with a song, before reminding them of the critical need to follow traffic rules.

Fr Ashley Miranda encouraged students to chase their dreams and aspire to become responsible, compassionate citizens. He urged them to stay true to their values and show kindness towards the less fortunate.

Fr Rixson Nigrel, Principal of the school, expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries for attending and praised the collaborative efforts of the staff and students. He also took a moment to express heartfelt condolences for the loss of a young student from the Pre-Primary section.

The Annual Report for the academic year 2024-25 highlighted the students’ exceptional academic achievements, as well as their participation in various extracurricular activities. A multimedia presentation captured the school’s journey, showcasing a range of events and accomplishments.

The audience was treated to a series of dynamic dance performances, each conveying powerful messages about courage, humanity, and happiness. These performances were a reflection of the event's theme, "Dreams Unfold."

The evening culminated in a grand finale, where students came together to showcase their budding talents, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. As the National Anthem played, the Annual Day at Don Bosco School concluded on a high note, reinforcing the institution's commitment to nurturing holistic education and inspiring the dreams of its students.
