BIS #6565 Don Bosco Banswara foundation stone blessed

It was a day of grace and blessings as the foundation for the 1st Salesians of Don Bosco Residence at Banswara, in Rajasthan, was blessed on the feast of St. Francis De Sales, in the golden jubilee year of the Salesian Province of St. Francis Xavier Bombay [INB].
The blessing of the foundation stone took place with a well animated prayer service by Most Reverend Devprasad Ganawa, Bishop of Udaipur. MumbaiSalesians Provincial-Father Savio Silveira thanked Bishop Ganawa for inviting the Salesians to start the college for the tribal youth of Udaipur diocese. He acknowledged the bishop’s constant support and guidance in this project for the youth. Both, Bishop Ganawa and Father Silveira expressed their sincere thanks to Shri Rajendra Singh, the owner of the property for sharing his property to the Salesians for a good cause.
Salesians from Gujarat and MP region were present in good numbers. Diocesan priests from St. Pauls Campus were present too. Lay collaborators involved in the project, were also part of this ceremony. Father Gregory D’Almeida, coordinator of this project thanked everyone for making this day a success and a memorable one. Through the intercessions of St John Bosco and our Blessed Mother, the gathering prayed for their guidance, help and blessings that this construction due to begin soon, would be brought to a successful completion. The ceremony ended with lunch at Jeevan Deep Pastoral Centre, Banswara.
